Shipping Explained

The pricing shown for the products includes shipping that will arrive within 2 days after shipment. Saturday or Next Day delivery is an additional charge.

Since we do not use any preservatives in our made-from-scratch donuts, we take care to keep them fresh during transit. We use an insulated and cushioned box that also contains gel packs that is sent by a 2-day shipping service.

If your order includes more than 4 dozen donuts, it will be shipped in multiple packages.

Any non-donut items that are purchased (apparel, retail goods, etc) that will not fit into the donut box will be shipped separately using a regular, non-express sevice.

Why isn't the date I want available for delivery?

We have a daily order limit of 100 orders - once that limit is reached, we will not be able to accept any additional orders for that day. Additionally, in order to ensure the order arrives fresh, we only ship out orders Monday thru Thursday

Why did I receive vegan donuts?

Our default dough recipe is vegan, which means many of our donuts are inherently made with vegan ingredients. Specifically, the Toasted Coconut and Maple varieties are always vegan, as we do not offer these flavors in a non-vegan option (except when they are gluten-free)

Are any donuts both Gluten Free and Vegan?

Unfortunately, we currently offer donuts that are either vegan or gluten-free, but not both combined. We are continuously performing R&D to be able to offer more flavors eventually & hopeful that we will be able to offer such an option in the future!

If the donuts are made from potatoes, then why aren't they all gluten-free?

Our standard recipe consists of about 50% mashed potatoes and 50% King Arthur Unbleached Flour.  The gluten-free version uses 50% mashed potatoes and 50% gluten-free flour blend.

Why can't you ship all of the flavors?

We've chosen the flavors that freeze, ship, and thaw the best.  Unfortunately the high level of acidity in the fruit glazes makes them unsuitable for shipping.

Should I warm up my donuts?

No need! They are delivered to you ready to eat!  Unbox and enjoy!

Where do you ship?

Currently our shipping program allows us only to ship to the continental United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii.

Do you have any order limits?

There is a minimum order of 6 donuts. If you order more than 2 dozen shipments, your order will be shipped in multiple packages.

We can accommodate up to 100 orders each day, once this limit is reached, we will not be able to accept any more orders for that day.

So are they frozen?

They will arrive to you fresh and ready-to-eat but we do freeze them before they ship. We have conducted testing to know the perfect amount of time and packaging for the best results.

Do these donuts have preservatives?

Nope! They are the same gourmet donuts you get in stores, free from any added preservatives and made with real Maine potatoes!

Can I use a Holy Donut gift card that was purchased in-store or online on my shipping order?

only eGift cards purchased at this website (delivery.theholydonut.com) are accepted on shipping orders.

eGift cards or physical gift cards that were purchased at a brick-and-mortar store or through our point of sale system are NOT valid for use with our shipping program.
